A customer had won a prestigious export order for a CCTV control system but did not have the in-house capacity to undertake the product build which consisted of 70 8' high 19" rack enclosures each containing various instruments, equipment and a significant amount of cabling. They needed a supplier with the right mix of technical expertise, highly organised production planning and project management skills - in short one whom they were confident could handle such a complex and critical project.

We were able to accommodate the entire system of 70 racks on our premises and allocate a dedicated team of trained personnel to the project. As well as populating the cabinets we also helped specify and design the connections, cables and identification system used to wire the system. Working in partnership with our customer we took responsibility for testing the installed cables whilst the customer took charge of the final system test. The customer had access to our premises at all times throughout the project and were able to bring in their end customer to demonstrate how the job was progressing.
