All of our highly skilled production staff, must complete our induction and core competency programme. They must then demonstrate attainment of our standards by producing a range of 'control' assemblies to pre-set levels of output and quality. These assemblies demonstrate competence in our core skills of soldering, crimping, testing and quality awareness.

Most of the production staff hold NVQ level 2 in P.M.O. and the team leaders are working towards the World Class Team Leader Certificate.

A skills matrix is maintained and displayed in the production area. This encourages multi-skilling and enables us to monitor skills coverage in all of the critical operations.

Training is constantly under consideration for both managers and production staff. The latest training plan is communicated and on display in the production area. We are always interested to help our staff to develop and gain new skills and knowledge that will improve the quality of products and levels of service that we can provide.
